Please read this carefully and prepare the housing accordingly before use.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the camera, battery, or other parts, for which Insta360 assumes no liability.
Please use the Insta360 GO 3 Dive Case with care to avoid accidental damage, improper care may affect the performance of the product.
It is recommended that you securely close the diving housing before each use (without the camera inserted) and submerge it underwater to check for leaks as follows:
Close the diving housing and then slowly submerge it underwater.
Stop as soon as the air starts to leak from inside the diving housing.
Submerge the diving housing and press the buttons underwater for 2-3 minutes.
Watch for air bubbles to form.
Remove the housing from the water and dry it carefully with a soft, dry cloth.
When closing the housing, make sure that there are no foreign objects on the parts of the housing that come into contact with the rubber seal.
Also, make sure that the rubber seal still covers the edge of the housing.
Never open or close the diving housing in a place where there is a lot of sand, dust, dirt, or other small particles.
Otherwise, the tightness of the diving housing may be compromised and the camera may be damaged.
The diving housing is not shock-resistant.
Strong vibration, shock, or pressure applied to the product may cause damage, failure, or reduced waterproof performance.
While the GO 3 is in the diving case, the maximum height from which you can dive into water is 2 metres.
The Insta360 GO 3 Dive Case is protected against drops to solid ground from a maximum height of 1 m.
Adhesive may be visible on the outer edge of the Dive Case lens.
This is normal and does not affect the water resistance.
Maintenance
Do not open the diving case while it is wet.
After using the product in the sea, take out the camera and soak the diving case in fresh water for at least 60 minutes.
If the diving case is not soaked after use in the sea, salt residue may affect the waterproof performance.
After soaking in fresh water, carefully rinse the diving housing with tap water.
You must not expose the diving housing to a strong jet of water from a single direction, as this could cause water penetration.
Make sure the diving housing is tightly closed before cleaning.
Wipe off any water drops still on the outside with a soft, dry cloth after rinsing the housing.
Do not dry it with a hair dryer, in a clothes dryer, or in the oven.
Make sure there is no sand in the dip case before drying.
Sand can scratch the surface of the product if you wipe it off with a cloth.
Do not store the dip case in a hot or humid environment.
Especially do not leave it in a hot car.
Do not wash the diving case with soaps, neutral detergents, or alcoholic cleaning products.
This could compromise the water tightness.
Do not clean the diving case with organic solvents (e.g. thinners, alcohol, or gasoline).
Store the product in a dry and well-ventilated place.
