Description
The Fujifilm GFX 50S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera Body, the first camera in the new GFX line delivers exceptional image quality.
The GFX 50S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera boasts a whopping 51.4 megapixels and is certain to deliver unmatched and exceptional image quality. It will also be using Fuji’s X-Processor Pro that is highly regarded in photographic circles for its vibrant colour ad tone reproduction abilities. The camera features a new Fuji G format sensor that measures 43.8 x 32.9 mm and can be adapted to various aspect ratios. If you compare the GFX to the traditional medium format cameras, you will find it to be more compact and lighter, with a wide range of physical buttons while still maintaining an ergonomic design.
Since it doesn’t have a built-in viewfinder they included a separate, detachable, electronic viewfinder that can be removed if you’d prefer to shoot using an external monitor or want your camera to be even lighter. The GFX 50S will use a new line-up of Fujinon GF lenses that are designed specifically for the new G mount. Fuji has designed the G Mount to have a short flange back distance of 26.7 mm to minimise the back focus distance, preventing vignetting and achieving edge-to-edge sharpness.
