The lens is a compact, lightweight 24mm wide angle, full frame, prime lens for Canon’s RF mount mirrorless camera systems.
It features close-up focusing down to 14cm (0.5x macro magnification), it has an aspheric element, and advanced coatings for high-quality images plus a fast, 9-blade f/1.8 maximum aperture that performs superbly in low light, giving beautiful out-of-focus areas and background blur.
A 5-stop Optical Image Stabilizer allows longer shutter speeds for hand-held shooting and slick video with more stabilisation (6.5 stops) on offer when used with an EOS R series body featuring an In Body Image Stabilizer. Takes 52mm filters.
